Please read these terms, which apply when you book any service with us.
These Terms & Conditions govern the moving, packing, storage and vehicle-transport services provided by Gati Packers and Movers. By booking a service with us, you agree to these terms.
Our services
We provide house shifting, office relocation, local and intercity moving, packing and unpacking, loading and unloading, car and bike transport, storage, pet relocation and international relocation, as described on this website.
Quotes and pricing
- Quotes are prepared after a survey (in person, on video, or from the details/photos you share).
- The quoted price is based on the items, volume, distance, floors and packing level declared at the time of survey.
- If the actual scope changes on moving day (extra items, changed address, additional floors), charges may be revised and will be shared with you before work proceeds.
Booking and payment
A booking is confirmed with an advance/token amount. The balance is payable as agreed, normally on or before delivery. We accept UPI, bank transfer, cards and cash, and provide a proper invoice.
Insurance and liability
- Transit insurance can be arranged on the declared value of your goods; high-value items must be declared and listed.
- Any claim is subject to the terms of the insurance cover and the signed inventory.
- We are not liable for pre-existing damage, items packed by the customer (unless agreed), or delays caused by events beyond our control (weather, strikes, road or authority restrictions).
Customer responsibilities
- Keep valuables such as jewellery, cash and important documents with you — we do not carry these.
- Do not hand over prohibited, hazardous, flammable or illegal items for transport.
- Arrange society permissions, lift access and parking where required, or inform us in advance so we can help.
Cancellation
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please inform us as early as possible. Token amounts may be adjusted against a rescheduled move as per mutual agreement.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra.
